The future

So what does the future hold for Harry? We’ve talked about his relationships; his reputation as a ladies man suggests that there may be more - but this is firmly in his hands. No-one would begrudge him happiness (except perhaps Lucy Horobin’s husband...) so let us all hope that whatever direction his love-life takes, it is one filled with pleasure.

Harry has also told of how he and the other members of One Direction would like more musical involvement in the writing of the songs in the next album. Although the roots of the music are still firmly planted in pop, they enjoyed having a live guitarist on their first tour, and they would like to introduce this sound to their recorded music. With a resurging interest in the grunge movement of the 90s, he hopes they can take elements from this classic style and add it into the mix.

There is no doubt that Harry faces a year of hard work - over a hundred gigs in one tour is a massive undertaking. However, he has what he always wanted: fame, money and respect. He appears to be loving every minute of it, and we are all happy for him.

Whatever the future holds, there is no doubt that with his fun-loving personality, Harry will continue to grab headlines, whether it is for his music, his love-life, or something that will surprise us all. For the sake of the fans, let’s hope he continues to make music for a long time - whether as part of One Direction, or of course as a solo artist. Thank you Harry for everything so far!
